So besides the pear incident, the visit with my parents was great! It was so nice to finally hang out with them in my environment. We had really good talks too, which was great. Helped me sort out some stuff from childhood, partially because we were able to finally speak as peers.

It's amazing what happens when you and your parents realize that they're just humans. Just humans who fucked up your mind and your life and your chances for success and made it so you HAD to become a hoochie dancer... I mean, I'm glad you had a good time.
