Update: went to the interview for the new bar gig today. Was 5 minutes late because the dam roads were flooded around here and the road i was gonna take to get there was closed down.
The guy seemed like kind of a dick that was the manager, He was talking really fast and asking me very detailed questions about what kind of bar shaker I use and if I use "the count method". I learned to bartend just by doing it and never really had formal training so I wasn't sure what he was really looking for. It seems like the place is really high volume and they are looking for someone who is super experienced in making fancy martinis.....which i'm not really. I would like to work there but I'm afraid I may be in over my head. I will see if they actually call me I guess.
