The homework for this week created by @rambo and @missy is: Review the last movie you watched!
Im loving thus because I love movies!!! Its my passion and what I've been studying.
Well, the last movie I watched was "Monster"
Monster is a biographical crime drama aboutserial killer Aileen Wuornos, a former prostitute who was executed in 2002 for killing seven men in the late 1980s and early 1990s. The film was written and directed by Patty Jenkins.
Aileen Wuornos was a woman who survived a brutal and abusive childhood in Michigan to become a thick-skinned but emotionally damaged adult. Homeless most of her life, Wuornos subsisted by working as a street prostitute; later, when she was in Florida, Aileen met Selby Wall, and after this, Aileen's life start to change. Selby moves into a cheap motel with Aileen, who initially pays the bills by hooking.
Now, my opinion about the movie: the movie is really good! It is well produced, with good shooting and good script . However , I think that the movie is very biased ... I already watched some documentaries aboutAileen's life before watching this movie, so I realized that the film becomes something a little different from reality. Becomes something more romanticized about the real story. Is a very good movie, I point out, however I think extrmemamente needed to watch the documentarys on Aileen 's life too, to not be left with a distorted and romanticized view of what really happened. Besides that, Charlize is impeccable and surprising in the role of Aileen! One of the best performances, presentations and characterizations I've ever seen in my life, it's no wonder it took the Oscar for best actress for this film.
If you watch this film let me know if you liked it and your opinions about it! :)
Well.... I decided to remind you that my first set goes up only in a week! I'm so happy and so excited, cant wait ... I really want to know what you'll think about the set, I hope you enjoy it! <3
