Man it's only Tuesday. My finals are over and I have a week off of classes. I had an AMAZING salsa class. He (the teacher) kept telling me I was doing so well (hey I'm Sicilian and Cuban, I can move my hips I guess). I live in Florida. The weather has been soooo wonderful. There is no reason to get up and not smile. But I have to share with you the 3 awful stories coming out of the sunshine state. It makes me sad. Sometimes I wish we still did things wild wild west style...you'll see if you dare to read depression.
I'll start with one that's not 100% awful. Monday 5/4/09 a woman jumped off the Skyway Bridge. Let me tell you why that is awful. They have many barriers to prevent this and there are VERY few now. When you jump off the Skyway Bridge, you die. It's a REALLY high and so many people have committed suicide this way. This bridge connects St. Petersburg with Sarasota and Bradenton...beaches and beautiful water. The good thing to come out of this story...SHE SURVIVED. She was very lucky because there was a Coast Guard boat near by who happened to be doing some training in the area. Talk about training! This is not the ending that we hear of. http://www2.tbo.com/content/2009/may/04/041526/woman-survives-jump-skyway/news-breaking/
Also on Monday a man gets into an argument with his wife. She goes to the garage to leave with their 3 children. So the husband shoots his wife...then he shoots 2 of his children and then himself. Only one child got away unharmed. He's 13 years old. That's a blessing to have survived but he's still quite young and in a few minutes lost his entire family. http://www.wftv.com/news/19359573/detail.html
Now let me get to the worst, most gruesome of the week. On my way to work this morning, over the interstate they have these board things that they can update with traffic or missing children. So I'm getting to Tampa around 745am and the first one says something like "POLICE ACTIVITY. TWO RIGHT LANES CLOSED AT FOWLER" So I turn on the radio and they don't have many details. I get to work 30 minutes late, but so did everyone. Well I found out that at 4:30 am this morning a 3-4 month old baby was thrown from a moving vehicle on the interstate. Sadly he did not survive. What kind of monster can just toss a fragile, precious baby out of the car like it's garbage. So the dad is 21 and the mom is 17. They get in a fight and he battered both of them. The mom said that he threw the baby down on the concrete and then picked him up and took off with him in the car where he tossed him in the emergency lane of the interstate. He is such an adorable baby. I can only help that that small child did not feel any pain. They have caught him and he's charged with first degree murder. http://www.abcactionnews.com/news/local/story/Baby-dies-abandoned-along-I-275-in-Tampa/wKCqs2AyLkuny0wt8C1QUw.cspx
I hope that I don't hear anymore stories like this when I wake up tomorrow. Or I should move to England or Australia!!!

I actually had a feeling it was going to be her
I watched it with my mom and kept telling her over and over
"what if it's kim?"
i feel really bad for her because she is better than Ty
and I don't think people didn't vote for her because they don't like her
I think people just got tired of the judges kissing her butt and
started to vote for other people to make sure they wouldn't get eliminated, yanno?
I don't know. That's just my opinion
