I know what you're probably thinking..."Wow, two posts in one week...what's going on?" Well I thought that my post yesterday was lame. So on to better things. There are just a few things I want to say.
1 - I love watching Dancing with the Stars. I've only gotten into it the past 3-4 seasons. But it's so great to watch people learn to dance. I've wanted to take dance lessons almost my entire life. I took Swing and Salsa at school last semester for fun...while they weren't quite what I'm looking for...they were fun. I'm looking for something that will teach me the technique. It may be boring at first, but I want to learn how to do the moves and then learn how to put them together in the dance. Anyways, one of the judges on the show said the greatest thing when critiquing "you can't confuse movement with dance"...hilarious!
2 - I REALLY, REALLY, REALLY want to take Tap dance. I've wanted to take it for about a year but I also have school classes on the same night and they come first. So I'm hoping that something will work out so that I can take it this summer...but as of right now, I have a school class on that night
3 - I want to train to be able to walk/run a 5K. So I'm going to work on that. My friend walked one a couple of weeks ago and it gave me the inspiration. So I found this website that has an article called "Couch to 5K" and it gives a training schedule for people that are less than beginners!
4 - I want to sign up for an adults co-ed sports league. I'm not sure what sport I'll play. I've never really played any...I did tennis and volleyball for a while...but I didn't play competitively. I've always wanted to play soccer so if I can find one that's for beginners, maybe I'll give it a try.
5 - I've been thinking about doing something really funky to my hair. Like in the middle, put some cherry red streaks in it so the tips stick out at the bottom and then maybe some honey/caramel highlights. I need to talk to my hair stylist.
I know that seems like a lot of things to want to do but everything that I've been through the past month with the guy and our friends has made me remember that I was trying to spend the last year focusing on me and my needs and I still haven't accomplished that. So I've thought about the things that I want to do and I'm trying to find ways that I can do them and not let things like fear or lack of experience or even lack of money hold me back. I only have this one life so I need to do these things while I can. I've also learned a huge lesson that the only one that's going to stand up for me is me.
I know some of the things I've said are cryptic and maybe one day I'll elaborate. But wish me luck and if you have done any of these things and you have advice from that, let me know!

even though I think that Melissa did a great job executing the Argentine Tango last week
it still lacked the passion that Gilles had
he always gets the character and emotion needed for each dance perfectly
And although I think Shawn dances very well too, she also lacks the emotional connection to each dance
and it's not her fault though because I think alot of it has to due with her age
I've always been a fan of Julianne and didn't really know who Chuck was before
but together they kind of make me cringe haha
They're cute and all but a little too much 'babe omg' haha
...and thanks for the comment about my new kitty since yesterday I've actually gotten a 2nd one haha

i like her, dont get me wrong
she ahs a good attitude and all (which surprised the hell out of me)

yeah she had long legs but she couldnt shake her hips to save her life
