People on here are such hypocrites anyway. Well, actually, alot of people in the world are anyway. I mean, I love seeing Vegans who smoke. ORLY? So, you either a) think it's cruel to eat animals, but have no problem polluting the air they breathe, or b) think it's bad for your body to eat meat but think nicotene and all those carcinogens are okey dokey. I mean jesus people, get over yourselves. My cat is declawed on the front paws and I still love her. Some people take things a bit too far methinks.

I wanted so much from that movie and also wanted so much for it to succeed and portray the book well. I had mixed feelings. I agree that some of it was just plain cheesy. How, with all the advances in cgi and such, could they not make some of it look more realistic. Something about the running scenes bothered me. Also I wasn't very impressed with how they made Edward's skin appear in sunlight. Honestly, they wouldn't be able to impress and appease everyone who read the book. I'm glad that your hubby enjoyed it as a stand-alone film, without bringing the preconceptions that we did to it. Hopefully that means plenty of people who haven't read the book will enjoy it...and watch it...and help it to be profitable and thus ensure that the other books get made into movies. lol My friend is a die hard Edward fan and has sworn that she won't go see the second one if it gets made into a movie. She's such a big liar! haha And no, actually I didn't yell at you. lol I was about 4/5 rows up and happened to see you and your hubby come in. Truthfully it was seeing him in the long, dark coat that made me recognize you. lol Sorry that you were feeling bad and I hope you're doing better now!
