so much hubub about the Superferry here. they knew it was coming for... how long now? and all the protesting hippy-types are just making a big stink about it now. its a damn CATAMARAN. they don't sit that low in the water, even for something of that size. besides, they seem to be fine with nuclear submarines and warships floating about. or maybe they just haven't noticed them.
i'm pretty sure they raised the taxes for everything associated with this Superferry. i paid for it. they paid for it. the tourists paid for it. if you're mad about the money, forget it, its already been spent and no one is going to get it back.
and what about the people who are all for the Superferry? shouldn't visitors be given the chance to see the other islands without having to pay an arm and a leg? why shouldn't a mother and father be able to visit their kid who has gone off to college on oahu?
please, just give all your whining a rest.. and try to go with it. you're fucking it up for the rest of us.
on another note, we got a little fish tank. and probably the coolest fish ever.

we decided to call it Blackie (coz we aren't creative), and he (or she?) live in half a sunken pirate ship.
we also go a bunch of guppies, an algae eating sucker fish, and some weird shark looking fish. we HAD a really pretty redish-pink betta outlined in dark blue, but he was dead when we woke up this morning. i have no idea why..
he probably got fed to the cat. (lol)
