My weekend was sooooooo normal. Not that I really expected it to not be, but something out of the normal would have been nice. And even though I slept like a log last night, I'm still tired this morning....which is unusual for me. I'm hoping the coffee will kick in any time now!
It is once again, cool and damp. 55 degrees and light intermittant showers, which are supposed to turn to rain tonight. I'm getting anxious for some sunshine and 78 degrees and having the windows open again. I'm afraid that the weather will go from this, directly into the really hot and humid stuff, without giving us the month of comfortable 70's and 80's that we deserve! Damn the weather!
My mood has been a little subdued lately. Can't seem to get a good spark going inside. I've been putting things off, that I should be working on. Just can't seem to get much enthusiasm, energy or inspiration to get going and get them done. I have good intentions....just a little lacking on the follow through sometimes.
I posted this photo to laceyglove's journal the other day, but decided to post it here too. It's a small part of my backyard.
I sometimes like to go out and sit in the yard and watch the sun go down....especially when things are weighing heavily on me.....it's a good time to do some thinking.
