Wow.....yesterday was such a great day! I think it got to 74 degrees on the old therm -mo -meter. It's supposed to be close to that today, before a cool down rolls in for tomorrow and the weekend. Indian summer....ya gotta love it!
I managed to give the camera a little workout yesterday afternoon....not much, but a little. It was great just to be outside doing something on such a nice day. The sunshine was brilliant, but it was a tad windy. I had to hold onto my cap a few times when the gusts came in.
You've heard of a bird's eye view? Well, here's a squirrels eye view of some fall color.
As dry as we've been the last 3 months, I'm a little surprised at how much color the trees and bushes have this fall...it usually takes some good rains to make great fall colors.
Yeah, it was windy yesterday....this is a 6ft. X 4ft. flag. It was snapping like a cowboy's whip yesterday.
Flags are really pretty when they have a nice wind to make them fly....don't ya think?
The old cottonwood tree and the burning bush, make a nice color contrast this time of year.
I have a soft spot for big ol' cottonwood trees. Most people don't like them, but I find them interesting. The brilliant red of the burning bush, makes it my favorite shrub.
Say hi to Missy! Isn't she a cutie??
She's my brother's dog and I'm looking after her while he's away for a few days.
She likes to pose.
She and I get along famously. We played ball for over an hour. She's young and has enough energy to light up a small city!
I have a real love for dogs. Someone once said, "A dog is the only animal, that loves you more than it loves itself." I think this is probably true. Spending time with a great dog is one of the greatest things in life.
Happy Thursday!
PS....I couldn't get this photo of Missy to load the first couple of times I tried....so I'm going to try again. It's such a good pic, that it's worth getting it in here.

What kind of dog is it?
I look forward to seeing more of your photos.
