So, the results of the MRA showed that there is no structural damage in the arteries in my neck, all of the damage is functional. Good and bad I guess. Structure would mean that we would know what is wrong and how to fix it. Functional seems a bit more vague and harder to pinpoint and fix, but I'm determined. I'm not going to be...

Finally got out of the house this weekend and had some fun. Went to the Grape Stomp Festival in Murphy's. They had a bunch of street vendors out. They were mostly selling country-crafty type stuff I'm not into, but the antiques and stuff were very cool. It was nice to be out of the house and just walk around. I've been so sore lately from...

Yeah, I wouldn't know what I'd be able to do anyway. Halloween is on a Wednesday and most of my friends work. frown

Well it seems like you're past it now but I was going to say the dye thing is nothing to worry over. It's pretty common. A couple of my uncles, my grandma, and I think even my dad have had that procedure. Man, seeing that now in writing I realize I have a really unhealthy family. confused

That was perhaps not a good analogy on my part. Forget I said it. confused

Went to a show in S.F. last night...fun. Finally got out of the housesmile

When I got home, the little guy had gotten the flu...he had a super high fever... frown
So...I spent the night trying to keep it down. It still keeps shooting up. Poor little guy. I feel like such a shit for having to put him in cold baths while he cries... trying...

So update on Mom....she's doing good...healing, and everything's fine smile Thanks everybody for the good luck wishes for us. My sister took over mom duty to give me a break. Rare for her to be so nice, so I took advantage and fled town....

So the little guy and I got to take a 4 hour car trip (both ways) this past weekend up by Lake...

Hi all. Not much going on in the last week.
My mom is having surgery on Thursday and I'm going to have to be helping her out with things....so I'm anticipating a few long, tiring days for both of us. frown
On top of that my babysitter went on her weeks (paid) vacation. I could have sent Gavin to the alternative sitter, but with the accident...

Feeling a little strange today.
I think I've been spending way too much time online and way too little around actual human beings since the accident. Usually, I like it this way. I tend to be pretty quiet and private unless you know me. I'm often mistaken for shy or bitchy, neither of which I actually am. I usually just hate mindless "chit chat" and...

So...Update...
Still recovering from the car accident. When I received the police report the other day, I found out the kid was going 75 mph and the police found no brake marks, so apparantly he had NO time to even stop. I can't believe I made it out of there alive! eeek

I've taken incompletes in the last few weeks of my degree, because of this,...

hahah I guess my new motto should be No Rest For The Wicked, eh?

I adore my family and it is my first priority so it was a no brainer that I would do that in AM, thats why I don't have beers or go out much it makes it uber difficult...

thanksfor the sweet comment though

I got in a bad car accident yesterday evening. I was sitting in traffic and this huge truck, (apparantly unaware of how to drive in traffic) came barreling down the freeway and right into my stopped car going about 65 mph. I know how fast he was going, because I got the lovely privelege of riding with him to the E.R. in the same ambulance....

Sorry to hear about your accident, I've always thought that half the people who drive seem to think they're in DeathRace 2000 or something. Hope you're not out of action for long, if there's such a thing as karma then surely the guy who was driving the truck deserves a hefty dose of the bad kind.

Hey,

My area of study is mostly existential/person centered therapy, anf hypnoyherapy but my training has been pretty eclectic. I started my college career out there in CA at MiraCosta College in Oceanside, then moved back to PA after graduation to attend Albright College. Now I'm a grad student at Kutztown University in the heard of Amish/ horse & buggy territory. What are you studying?

trying to get something to work on here, but apparantly, I'm retarted or my computer hates me.. frown

Trying to attach pictures? I know it doesn't work very good. You can either create a path to an internet photo or you can use the browse button. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. So hows grad school and life in general. I've been running back and forth between TN and Detroit almost continuously since the beginning of the year. I do get to see Vivid and Rhanarose from time to time, so its well worth the trip. Two very interesting people. As per your comment, running is going well and converting lazy into speed. I'm trying to stay around long enough to teach my grandchildren how to drive a straight shift hotrod Mustang. I think its working, as long as I don't get runover by a truck while I'm running. wink kiss
