my ipod will be here any day now (woohoo!) this is your chance to educate me musically. i REALLY need it 'cause i'm the type of person who'll listen to the same 5 CDs over and over again instead of taking the initiative to find new stuff.

like: good melody/catchy, poetic lyrics (not a necessity but a bonus), a touch of electronic stuff can be good too.

dislike: when a vocalist can do nothin' but scream, country, rap, r&b, soul, jazz, blues, techno that has no hint of originality
