i cant believe, hearing flaming lips again. i still have the tape of transmissions from the satellite heart..somewhere. hardly listened to it b/c i liked three songs at most but she dont use jelly was just too catchy, it got me. i adore their new song, though not sure how new it is. something original on the radio
i need to make this short, as it's almost 4 a.m. and i have to get a few hours of sleep before my class tomorrow morning. time has been going by so fast lately, so much of it wasted too. what have i done recently that was actually worthwhile? well i did help a friend out today (ok, the exboy who's not quite ex yet..heh) even though it required waking up at 5 a.m. and sitting for hours in boredom. i still made it back for chemistry class today..lucky cause the exam is next week. i'm just a wee bit lost, but the final grades are ridiculously scaled (how i managed a 4.0 in the chem 1).
mainly i dont think im learning useful things in school anymore, just enough to get by, to get the grade. i dont want it to be that way. i want to learn something i like and can apply. i want to start creating things. i think im starting by sewing. i have someone to teach me, someone with a fancy serger, it will just require two things i tend to lack..co-ordination and patience. mainly the last one is a problem..but i'll try to stick with it. i think it'll be fun..
not much else is going on recently. ill be more interesting on another date..
