i'm back from holland.
as expected, it was great. a real experience, especially for a girl who's had relatively limited life experience. to see a different place and a different way of life and even to live differently if only for a week or two. wow. i definitely want to backpack through europe now. at least for two months. but i'd still bring a friend. it was a little intimidating at times. the second night there one girl in our group (of course it had to be the girl i have a crush on who was going to take pictures with me: ( got her wallet stolen and she went back home. that sucked. all in all it was a really neat experience though. the first night there i was a little freaked out, the streets are so crowded and every few minutes when you're out walking around there's some really shady guy whispering "coka coka ecstacy ecstacy" as you pass. it's so different yet so catered to american tourists. it's strange. it was really interesting how the overcommercialized aspect of amsterdam mixed with the old architechture and streets. also hostel life was definitely new to me. staying with a dozen strangers can be annoying but sometimes rewarding. i met a few cool people. saw some neat things...anne frank's house, the van gogh museum, a live sex show, the torture museum. i'm sure there's more..
i've been pretty sick for the past few days though. i feel really icky right now in fact. so i've missed the first day of each of my classes now which means i have to go tomorrow so i don't miss anything. i have to go back to work too. blah. at least there was some morgan and roxy togetherness when i checked in today. how delightful is that set? i'm really going to try to get some pictures of me taken this weekend. i have an idea i'm really looking forward to implementing. i hope it turns out well.

Get lots of rest sweetie. You can always borrow other peoples notes from classes, but getting really sick sucks. Maybe I just like sleep too much.
did you get your pics done?
