omg like the best weekend ever

seriously, i had a really enjoyable weekend. friday night was acornpigturtle's party at x's place. a lot of SG people. a lot of other people. i was happily drunk/social.

last night i went to another party (or perhaps a "get together"). i very rarely have something to do every night of the weekend. you'd think i'd have something of a social life, but no, not really. anyway, saturday night was very fun as well. i like being surrounded by a bunch of creative people. one guy drawing in the corner, a bunch of people jamming on instruments, another guy speaking philosophically for the whole night. people are interesting and never fail to surprise me, just when i'm starting to lose faith.

i miss the times when my journal entries used to be an insight into me. when they used to mean something. infinitely more interesting, but i guess i haven't been inspired for writing of that kind lately. *sigh/shrug*
