A friend recently reminded me how of much of a verbophile I used to be and of the feeling of writing something that affects others in some way. .2 of the 4 friends that have read my poems said that one or more of them turned them on! I find that so cool, because it wasn't even my intention, and most aren't overtly sexual.

I've been falling back in love with language. I got a collection of all of Rilke's French poems...$18 but I think worth it because Rilke makes my heart happy. Also reading some ee cummings. I've been working on completing some old poems of mine that need work. I wish it still came to me automatically, but it's still good to make some progress. I've also discovered what an awesomely sensory experience it is to have poetry read to you. Without the act of reading, automatic as it may seem, you can really focus on the sounds of the words, the flow, and best of all, you can picture the imagery so clearly. love love love

This probably bored everyone, but I can't help it. It's something I'm passionate about. I'm debating posting the erotic poem (don't laugh) that I just finished but I kind of doubt anyone would care to read it (which is cool, I understand not everyone's into poetry)...but then it seems kind of appropriate since this IS a porn site. hmm.
