I've decided I have one of the best apartments in Norman. I live in a little duplex that was probably built in the late 50s early 60s. Which means the walls are thick enough that I can turn my radio up and well they just don't make buildings like they used to. This place appears to have no structural problems at all. I also live right next to campus corner, which is great because I love pub crawling.
However I have no car and my budget is so much tighter than before. I literally walked about 5 miles just to buy necessary things at Walmart, like toilet paper and Ramen noodles. I must have looked strange carrying six full Walmart bags around Norman. Man, my legs are sore.
I also still have no furniture, except a bed. Having a bed is nice and all but I have no sheets either, just a blanket. In my fridge is a 2 liter of coke and in the freezer is a bottle of Jack. That's really all I need though.
EDIT: I also ditch the stalker chick before she had a chance to go psycho on me. I did it over the phone. I know, breaking off a relationship over the phone is tacky. But, we talked more on the phone than we ever had in person. She cried a lot and told me we were destined to be together. I told her we'd only been on 4 dates and she needed to calm down. Then she had the nerve to ask me if we could still go out this weekend. She was definitely showing the signs of a possible psycho. She said things like, "Part of me wants to drive to Norman, find your new apartment and annoy you till you change your mind." That was yesterday. She called me today and like a dumb ass, I answered. She asked how my day had been and trying to avoid a long conversation I told her that I was busy all day unpacking. Then she uttered the words, "well, at least you don't have to worry about me taking up any of your time now." I said I had to go and ended the phone conversation. Along with saying goodbye she told me she loved me. About fifteen minutes later I got a long e-mail from her, apologizing for being too clingy and she hopes that one day we can have a relationship again. I'm glad she doesn't know where my new apartment is and I have blocked her from my messenger and will never answer her phone calls again. Hopefully she will get the message and move on. i don't know how much more bluntly I can put it.
