So at 1 p.m (Eastern Standard Time) I have an interview at Starbucks (don't knock the choice. I know people have their opinions but hey, it's a pretty economical decision if you ask me. I can just [hopefully] transfer when i get west-coast, instead of finding a whole new job). But, anyway. Needless to say i'm ridiculously nervous. I have no idea what to wear (whether i should look natural and go in jeans and a nice shirt or spice it up and look "formal"-ish). But luckily i have my mom here to dress me for the day.
Also i'm nervous that i won't get the job cuz the Manager, Melissa was like "the nature of the job" requires that i stay there for 6-months to learn it all then apply it. Unless i can transfer. But i called a store right down the street from the school i want to go to in L.A and they were very curt with me and said "we don't know yet, can i take your name and number and we'll call you back." So i did and they never called. I'm not sure whether they thought i was looking for a job and should have pursued it, but i didn't. I dunno.
After that comes more unpacking from college but then turning around and packing for a few days cuz i'm GOIN' OUT WEST. Yes, folks. I'm going out to L.A to check out the school. (Musician's Institute, if you're wondering). First, we spend a day at my brother's house where i start to video tape (record...whatever the fuck you kids call it) my audition (cuz that's how they do it at this school) <----so nervous about that it makes me sick.
I'm still debating on three different songs. See i have to do one with accompaniment and one without. My "without" is set on "Wanted Dead or Alive" by Bon Jovi. By "With" is a choice between "Type" by Living Colour, "Long Time" by Boston and "The Good Ones" by ...well...me.
Tuesday is chock full'o'(nuts?) going to MI, having a sitdown with one of the counselor types there, taking a tour, sitting in on (part of) a class, and all that stuff. Busy day. Then i have a flight back monday morning that leaves at some ungodly hour like 5am...YES, that's when it leaves. Luckily i'll be home in Boston by about 5pm EST. But i'm pretty sure i'll be fucking exHAUSTED! But then i can get on with my summer...sort of.

that sounds so cool, I want to go out to cali next summer hopefully. I wouldn't worry about the job too much, those kinds of jobs come a dime-a-dozen, believe me, I work at a supermarket...
