So I got the email for picking classes and what classes I want to TA for my masters starting in September.
I'm pretty damn excited.
My prof suggested I take either quantum mechanics or statistical physics. I hated stat phys so the choice was easy. I'll also be taking a general relativity reading course, where the only people in the class will be me and the other guy joining the gravitational physics group this year. I've had a class with 2 people before, and it was fun, but I've met the other guy joining the group and he seems boring as fuck. He seems like the type of guy that only cares about work, which I kinda respect and wish I had more in me, but I definitely need some fun in my life too. Don't get me wrong, I'm gonna try hard as hell, I want to get this masters over with as quick as I can so I can move on to my PhD. Plus I want to crank out the marks that will let me get into Cal Tech, if that's even possible.
I really want to TA the Mechanics I course. That's the whole reason I got interested in general relativity in the first place.
Finally, I leave you with comedy:
