Oh My God. This weekend was amazing.
i saw theSTART 3 times in 3 days in 3 different states.
Friday was Long Island.
Punchy (sara) and i had a fun time getting to the damn place cos there is only one cab company in massapequa and they suck balls.
Anyways we finally get there, meet up with Stefanie and hang out with the band. They finally went on after a few pretty boring bands. All three of us were right up front with some other kids dancing + singing and having a blast. All of a sudden aimee grabs me to sing with her. haha im such a rockstar. it was great.
after a few more songs she says "this one is for natalie" and they did Breed by nirvana :swoon:
God. I LOVE aimee echo. no two ways about it.
After they did breed she says "how many of you guys remember the band HUMAN WASTE PROJECT? ok well i'm gonna try something. it'll probably wont sound good at all, but i'm gonna do it anyway. this song hasn't been played since 1998" the bassist and drummer leave the stage. So its just Aimee and Jamie, and they proceed to do the HWP song, Electra.
I sware all three of us had our jaws on the floor, but still managed to sing along and help aimee out when she forgot a line
it was fucking amazing. for any HWP/theSTART fan ...well i should say fan of Aimee Echo, you'd know how rare that is, and how it'll probably never happen again.
Saturday was the show in South Hampton, MA.
We figured out that this must be the place all the bikers go to settle down. The town had nothing but biker bars in it. haha it was great. they had ice pops for $.25 !! We got there hours before the band, or anyone else for that matter. We met up with Mike and another Stefanie. The venue was a sXe place, which was good cos that ment no smoking. Which means clear breathing for me. The show was great as usual. they spiced up the set list just for us.
everyone was hungry after the show so we went to denny's with 13 people and totally rocked the boca burgers.
Sunday's show was in CT. Hartford to be exact.
This band gets better every time you see them.
The sound was probably best here. Mike was filming so aimee was extra sexxxy on stage. haha shes great!
I got some great candid pics of jamie and brian. i wish my computer worked so i can upload them.
anyways thats the weekend in a large nutshell.
oh yeah wait. i'm mad at dirk again.
usually when things get to this point i just give up on trying and tell them "hey, you know where i am if you want me". Even tho i have a huge feeling this has to do with his ex girlfriend (she doesn't like me
)
