A Picture Journal

October Tomfoolery
This weekend was all about photography. Cos when yr broke, whats easier than gettin out the camera and shooting a few things?
Sunday we went out to Tarrytown waterfront and took some shots of the Tappan Zee bridge as the sun was setting on what felt like the first REAL day of autumn. We headed back towards the car when i realized i was looking at the Manhattan skyline ... or whats left of it .
We left, drove around Tarrytown and stopped in this organic food store where i got crumpets (!!!!!) and chai. Came home to talk to Josh.u.ah and had a fucking blast. I started to wonder where the Headless Horseman's bridge was, so i looked it up online and realized it was in this OLD
cemetery which is part of this Church which i had been infront of just hours ago.
//for those of you who don't know, SLEEPY HOLLOW is the town where the book "Legend Of Sleepy Hollow" takes place (ah,its all falling into place!)...you know the story of the headless horseman and stuff. the places i visited are in the story so its pretty awesome to actually be there///
. Monday afternoon rolls around, i decide to go back up there to see if i can find this infamous bridge that saved the lead in the story. After a few hours of roaming the cemetery (p.s. that IS an F, not a P), we finally decided to make our way down to the water.
I made my way down this weird path (then noticed there were these stone stairs and i felt like an ass...)
I found what was
left of the bridge, and decided to walk down a bit further. I came across this wonderful little waterfall - i decided to get a bit closer, to take some better pics, but i slipped in mud and lost my balance. My camera, still in hand, hit this rock and smushed one of my fingers.
So now my camera is busted, as is my right ring finger. Luckily i didn't actually fall cos i would have been covered in mud and REALLY angry.
The cemetery is so awesome. There are people burried there who were confederate soldiers and stuff.
Then i went to staples and who was it that walked in right infront of me but the ever so awesome Stagga Lee.
Or better known round these parts as Eric.
Ok, I'm off to ride into the night - seeking my head and throwing pumpkins at people...
xoxo

If you chat with Jonah by chance, pleast tell him his Barbecue brothers from San Jose miss him and send hugs.
The Barbecue part is essential though..
He'll laugh...
I can explain the joke if you'd like.
I'll upload a pic in my pics, check it out.
glad you had a fun weekend
