This weekend was fun.
It was spent in Philadelphia with Dan and his gf Aimey, this girl Juli, theSTART, Puke, Fiona + Stefanie.
:sniff sniff:
Smell that? Elmers Glue! Its the smell of Philly's "punk" scene. No joke, when you walk down south street you can literally smell the elmers in the air. Then again, it was a river city rebel's show.
Someone should inform those *fashioh "punks"* they should really use RAVE 4 and a hair dryer instead of glue and beeswax. Take it from me, i was once in the NYC punk scene...sorta. Which is why i avoid scenes/scenesters as much as possible.
Anyways, theSTART didn't want to play the show. but they went on anyway. Volunteering to take the first spot so they could leave asap. They didn't play Breed or High Flyer. I got a new memory card for my digital camera. 64mb as opposed to the one i usually use which is only 8mb. so 64mb = about 650 pictures.
I took 4. what a jackass i am. I was so tired from being up at 6:30am so i could do everything and catch a stupid bus at 9:00am. After they played Aimee invited us to go with them to get Vegan pizza. But that chick Juli who came with us wanted food then and i felt bad making her wait till everything was packed up, so we left and got vegan chinese food. which was actually pretty good.
Yesterday i got stuck on a bus for almost 5 hours cos of traffic. Without traffic its about an hour and a half drive. Thankfully i had about 64 + cd's with me.
So today was my first day of not having to work.
I did the lazy thing and watched tv. Which is odd cos i haven't watched tv in so long. Blind Date is the funniest show ever!
I think im gonna go play outside, its a gorgeous day and i wouldn't want to waste it.
