so I'm off to SF, LA , Vancouver and then NY, before a return to London in a week. So this week I had so many meetings about so many varying opportunities, I started to do a SWOT analysis today just to assess who to email back 1st. Wow.

Seriously though, I had dinner last night with one of my two leading contenders.. Frankly he...

ok I LOVE Italy, where I just spent 6 days in San Felice Circeo (which is the mythical site of Odysseus' encounter with Circes). BTW if you haven't been there it's amazing. The food is to die for; chicken, fish, buffalo mozzarella, pasta. We had a lovely woman named Maria who came with the house - MAN she could cook. It was truly fabulous. The...

man, I can't wait to get back to Italy. Some day. Ooh, exciting. I really liked this harry potter movie. A lot. I know a lot of people disappointed with it, but it's impossible to put that much stuff from such a long book into a little movie. I thought it was too short, some of the camera works was lame, but I really really enjoyed it. Luna was the best part. She rocked. Enjoy your viewing, sir.

Hey, how is that one project going that you were way stressed about? Same one?

So just about every day I read something about Globalization. Here in the UK it's almost always negative.

I find this so strange from a country whose massive colonialism and it's impact on the world are largely
responsible for much of what we now negatively associate with the concept. (before you rant, please note I'm talking historical precedent here not currently - the US definitely...

Roller coaster part ii

We have a new line producer

the bond company has assigned a new rep (that's our counterpart)

we have found the missing money.

so assuming all goes well monday/tuesday (all days meetings both days) we are back in production.

So I guess I'm not out of movie business yet. I am, however, still going to start looking - both for a...

oh...wrap parties all week. I'm gonna miss my production crew, the art director, the camera operaters, crafty....we were all one big happy family. Made some really good friends. Always sad when a production ends. And you're just trying to start one!

don't get too down, buddy. just let it go. it'll work itself out. swear.

I've been trying to contact vegas members so that I'll actually have something to do in vegas, something to leave in vegas. we'll see....

ha. like I said, just use my movie as a paper weight for now. I know you're busy. don't rush.

*just breathe*

kiss

It's so funny you wrote, I was actually just thinking of you!

So is the rain a good thing? For me, it usually is. I could use some of it here, to help break up my chest cold.

Well, it's not good news.

I'm pretty seriously considering chucking in the towel on the ventures of the past two years and doing something else. Its not the actual making of films I don't like, it's the people and the nonsense, lying, theivery and constant bullshit that abound.

Also, I've been working on this slate of movies for almost 2 years and have nothing to...

Hello - what a difference a day makes good or bad...

Our line Producer last week was in a terrible accident. To make an analogy for those of you who don't know what a line producer is, he's the guy who actually runs the day to day. Think of him as the General on the ground running the war that is making a film. I'm...

hey richard!
first i would like to say i'm terribly sorry for your line producer's accident and the risky situation it has plunged your film into. i wish you the very best for being able to continue making the movie.
i also hope that your gorgeous daughters enjoyed their easter fairy party as much as it looks in the photo smile
upon reading your letter in the spoiler i was confident it would be published. it is very articulate and persuasive - certainly worthy of putting that bigoted doubter back in his place, well done.
best of luck for everything, hang in there and keep your head up xox jen

what kind of movies do you usually make?

yes, family is good. I'd sort of forgotten how good it can be... which gets me into trouble (it creates a vicious cycle), but I'm glad they're around to help.

The world's problems can make a person feel awfully insignificant. Keep chipping away.

hello all

sorry it's been so long since I posted. { insert long string of excuses } mostly I've been traveling. In fact in 10 days I've been in; Vilnius Lithuania, London, NY and Los Angeles to name a few places, that doesn't even include the stop-over in salt lake when my jetblue flight ran out of gas !!!

So it looks like we're ready...

thanks for the advice. I'm looking more forward to meeting fellow SG people, getting my dance on, drinking a lot, and hanging out with a good friend. but yea....don't wanna be losing any sorts of money...my roommate, who is a guy, told me tonight to just walk up to one of my crushes and tell him straight up. What would you do if a girl came up to you (and you were single and maybe attracted to her) and told you to fuck her. no strings attached, just a few nights of fun? I don't know....I can get reckless, but the opportunity hasn't presented itself quite yet....I did start a few jobs (new people) one of them being at a bar. It shouldn't be too hard. But I'm finding the older I get, the less available the good ones are. ooo aaa

Hey, I got your movie in the mail! I'll be watching it soon. Yay!!! kiss

Ok

long delay and no post... I have lots of excuses, but really I just kept thinking I want my next post to be the good news that we are making the films finally. But it's not the case, yet. still need hopes and support here..

but there's just been too much fun that's happened:

ok 1st thing it SNOWED last week !!! central London...

hi all, happy holidays!

so all I wanted for xmas was a new home! and I GOT IT!

that's right, we finally live in London - whew. It was a bit expensive, but we decided the proper choice was to be carless, use public transport and apply the car payment, gas and insurance money to the rent.

We live two blocks from Hampstead Heath ,...
