CHICAGO PEOPLE!
Hello, Chicagoans. :]
What are some places that I MUST MUST MUST MUST go to in Chicago?
I'm pretty much a newbie to the area minus visiting the American Girl Place (which was my Disneyland).
What're some good boutiques (clothes or music ones or books!) and some good second hand stores? Oh, good record stores, too?
Let me knowwww. :]
Also, who wants to meet up? :]

Since you seem to like High Fidelity, you should check out Reckless Records in Wicker Park. It's pretty awesome, and a couple doors down from the building they used in the movie.
It's hipster city around there, though...but the plus side is that there's lots of little cafes and such with pretty good eats. A lot of vegan/vegetarian spots, and mostly pretty cheap. Unlike most of the bars, which have the audacity to whack you four bucks for a PBR while you're surrounded by characters from an Urban Outfitters catalog. Haha. But there's probably about 5,000 little botiques, thrift stores, and the like within a one-mile radius.
Oh, and I would not be opposed to meetups. Not one bit.
