I've been having the most surreal, odd dreams lately. Last night I dreamed that I went on a trip to Boston from Maine...in a sailboat. Not even a sailboat actually, it was more like a dingy/lifeboat. I braved the waves of the Atlantic just for a trip to Boston from Maine. And it only took about 20 minutes to get there. Unfathomable timetable. And after I spent some time in Boston I went back to the dock where my lifeboat was and the waves were so massive that they manipulated the plane of the horizon and everything felt like it was tilted at a 45 degree angle for part of the dream. But when I eventually got to the boat and set sail back for Maine, A monstrous storm hit. And through the magic of non-linear time that comes with dreaming, I was somehow back in Maine on a trail that passed through this brightly colored, mildly wooded valley, where birds were singing and animals frolicking. Yet while being in this beautiful place I still felt the anxiety of not being home, lost, and not being able to find my way. Then I woke up.
Odd huh? Hahaha
The night before that I had another zombie apocalypse dream. I was a master marksman and tactician when it came to combating zombies. Along with a group of people equally as skilled as I was, we were trying to fight our way out of some unnamed heavily infected/populated city. Unfortunately, while trying to fight the zombie we ran into a massive group of feral humans that lost all sense of civility because of the zombie pandemic. The timeframe of the dream was 15 years after initial outbreak. We were backed into a modern church with sleek designs and adequate defensive positions. My team and I were fending off the attacks with amazing efficiency. During the mayhem, I just woke up.
I have zombie apocalypse dreams more often than I would like, hahaha.
Random I know. I just wanted to get these dreams written down.

both those dreams sound really intense. i always have really odd dreams and then try not to think too much about whether or not they/re subconsciously trying to tell me something.
