Mmmmm....bagels.
There is a dude that looks exactly like a real-life Beavis that works on the first floor of my office building. He cracks me up every time I see him. I wonder if his co-workers do too.
I already told Neo about this, but thought everyone might get a laugh from this. BHL called me last night, and she & her roommate were down...

Speaking of pics, um, thanks for the special treasures placed in my journal yesterday. They truly were lovely.

Yup, Ounin's a big boy. 18#, last time I checked. Thinks he's a lap cat, and he's too big for the lap!
His brother Waka still lives with mama cat at my mom's house. Waka's close to 20#, all black too. He's a bit neurotic, or, you might say, waka.

When looking for a place to eat on a busy night, look for a place on fire!
So, BHL calls yesterday afternoon & tells me about this meeting she's been in & how she could use a happy hour. Who am I to refuse?
Meet her out on the Bloomington Strip, all sorts of mediocre corporate food & drink options. Ground Round: closed. Outback: 30...

Very, very, very sleepy. Should have played hooky today. It looks beautiful out...
Bad hair day. Got kind of a Conan-O'Brien-Hair-By-Dairy-Queen look going.
I feel like pulling a Costanza and curling up beneath my desk.
Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

I went over to my buddy DG's house last night, and I notice this sapphire-blue Porsche Boxter in front. DG is a Toy Guy...snowmobiles, the baddest Harley in St. Paul, etc. Turns out it isn't his, but it is his brother's and he had traded his SUV for a few days.
So, we...

So, I walk into a bar last night, sit down, and these guys sitting at another table, but not out of earshot say "Hey, look, it's what Jack Osbourne will look like when he's grown up".
I'm not sure what to think about that!

Got a call from my sister in Texas last night. She had to put her cat to sleep. Made me sad. When I lived with her, he & I had a comical relationship. When she was around, he would hiss at me, and I'd tease him. But, every day, the moment she left in the morning, he would bound into my room purring, and we'd have scratch & pet time. And, he would always curl up in my lap when I was home in the afternoons. The moment Sis came through the door, though, he'd shoot off my lap & go hide. RIP, Corky.
Observations from my journey to work today:
What is the significance of a pair of shoes slung over a telephone/power line? I asked my roommate once, and he said "It's a trailer park thing". Saw it today, and was indeed near a trailer park.
Saw a refreshing juxtaposition of socio-political bumperstickers. The GLBT Rainbow, a Pink Triangle, and a "Criminals Prefer Unarmed Victims" sticker. Now, before anyone rails me for stereotyping, all I'm saying is that you just usually don't see those things together & it made me smile.
Dogsitting this weekend. Roomie's daughter is bringing her dachsund. He's nice & cracks me up.
BHL is out of town, Roomie's got the daughter, the Runk is free! Ah, what to do, what to do...
Right now I'm going to get a Diet Coke and a Bagel. Have a most excellent day!

Kind of a crapulent St. Patrick's Day.
Ever had something you've been involved with that makes you physically sick? I have a project at work right now that is killing me. It's pretty high-level with lots of opportunity for a high visibility fuckup. We had a meeting about it yesterday and I just started sweating profusely, it was really embarassing. I stayed at work until...
