I was granted an audience with the BHL last night! We went out for drinks & apps. It's an opposite case of "Absence Makes the Heart Grow Fonder". When I don't see her for days, I tend to think more of the negative aspects of our relationship, how there always has to be some kind of drama, how there always seems to be some kind of emotional obstacle, how it's always a cycle of passion & love, then some kind of disconnect.

But, when I see her walk into a room, my heart leaps. I look into her eyes and want her in the worst way. I love knowing someone better than I know myself.

Then, I worry. Her career, her friends, her ambition, her family all seem to take precedence over me. Is that true? Maybe, maybe not. It's how it feels.

Thus is the state of my heart and mind today. Cheers!
