so now my fucking security job, which i love and dont want to give up, tells me i cant wear earings....they told me to just take them out when i come in and put em back in when i leave, they dont seem to understand that i cant just leave them out for 8 hours and magically get them to back in........this is all because the board members of the place where im stationed dont like them and they dont think it gives people who come into the complex a good impression.....well i say FUCK YOU to that......i told my boss, the owner of the security company, and the father of a good friend of mine that i went to highschool with, that i cant just take them out and put them back in later....he said he would try to find me another site to work at, but that could be anywhere and i like the place im at now........i was wondering how the assholes would react in the summer time when i have a t shirt on and my tatted arms are in view....im sure that will go over real big.............anyways, long story short, the job hunt commences again tomorrow.........................................................

dude i hate looking for jobs when you have to conform. i was just talking with a friend last nite about this! you know, how you dress a certain way to look what a majority of ppl consider "appropriate" just so you can pay your rent.. it sucks that we have to conform. unfortunately many ppl don't yet understand that appearance does not affect job capability...
