Yup that's it I'm done with online dating sites. Biggest waste of money Ive ever spend. And I should have known better. You always hear about the success stories of online dating but never about the countless people who don't find anyone. Men who never hear from anyone and women who are constantly harassed. I don't know how it ever works. And at the end of the day it just leaves me depressed. Countless profiles of women who are supposedly looking for someone like me but don't respond. How many profiles did I pass up who could have been the one. We turn to these sites for hope, to meet different people then we do in our normal lives. But profiles aren't people, they cant tell you if you will like somebody or not. But that's all we rely on for this sites. And if you're not good at writing about yourself, well forget you. So I will give this advice if your looking for love, don't use a dating site, just talk to people on any social media site you already use. Try a new site. Make a new friend or two. One may become something more, or they may lead you to that special someone. And I know how hard it can be. I'm a shy introvert so I know the pain, I'm still looking myself. I just don't want others to waste their time like I did on false hopes and promises. Remember meeting people is the first step, and keep your heart and mind open. You never know who could be the one.
