Work today, work tomarrow.
Glee oh glee oh glee....I really need a car so I can get out more.
You know...I think I want to lower what I gave in MGS: TSS to 4 instead of 4.5...only because while I find it fun and even though I already beaten it, I still have a strong urge to play it EVEN THOUGH IT IS EXTREMELY EASY!!!! No game on normal difficulty should be that simple. Plus minus some points on the too many showboating on some of the characters moves (Revolver....*spins guns for 5 minutes*...Ocelot. You can say his name in not even a second and it takes him 5 fucking minutes.). Ugh...someone shoot the director on that one...
Also finally started up Ninja Gaiden again. Finally got passed those freakin' tanks. I tell ya...they are so annoying. Final score: Tanks 8, Ninja 2...but that 2 outweighs your 8, bitch! Unfortunately, I met a new friend...big fucking Eel (who looks like a worm). Fuck you, Eel (who looks like a worm)! God, I can only imagine how fucking hard this game will get at chapter 15 and 16...or even better...HARD MODE! *shudders* I am almost afraid to find out...
Rented Tenchu for Xbox, though my XBox won't play too much of it for a fair review...but that is ok, I could still give my number one impression. The game is worth the money. So remember, get Tenchu: Wrath of Heaven on PS2! It is the same game without the online options (and they are not worth the $25) and only half the price!
I still need to get back into Splinter Cell. But with me getting back into Ninja Gaiden and my MGS cravings hitting me at random times...I doubt it will happen soon. And besides, Unreal Tournament 2004 comes out Wednesday. That will be fun. Very fun!
Ok, enough about the geeky videogame stuff.
I still need to pick up my tickets for April 9th at the Metro for the record release party. I haven't heard of the other two bands, but I know Local H is there, so that is enough for me to go for only $10! Also, my friends got me tickets to the White Sox home opener. Cheapest seats, I think they said, but hey, hanging out with friends at a ballgame in the cheap section is a hell of a lot better than sitting at home doing nothing or just completely doing school work.
Ok, if I was smart, I would do the school work thing completely, but I just can't seem to get into it right now...mainly because I was so far in it, but now feel like I am back at the beginning cause I noticed a lot of animation I need to touch up, I need to learn better lighting schemes, I am remodelling the female lead (which is a painful process for me right now...why, I am not sure), and I really need to relearn a lot of Photoshop work with Alpha channels so I can texture properly. Ugh...
I also joined my school's comic book club. I am not the biggest comic book fan, but I do enjoy them. The club is not a fan based thing either. It is something that is dedicated to get the members (all but one of them are animation students) to create comic ideas, work on them, and bring them in. The next meeting in April is when we show concepts. Our goal is to get everyone to finish about a 2-4 page comic, collect everyone's and publish it. It means a lot of work, but hell, I am up for anything to help get my name out. We already have a publisher, and we are going to start out with our ideas next time we meet. If we are lucky, the comic will be finished by next semester. I got a few ideas, but not sure what I really have the dedication to do for it. And most likely, it will only be a simple four panel thing that will be on 3 or 4 pages. Wish me luck on that one...cause I really would like to get this out.
I think I will keep you guys updated on it...releasing concepts and even rough sketches of the comics or just simple thumbnails for simple feedback. But...I guess this means I can't be all sketchy for this one...
'til next time, SGer's!

Lil update of something someone showed me:
Films inspired by the game Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem.
Since it is my favorite horror game, and I found some of them to be enjoyable.
Broken Saints DVD coming out this Fall.
