While coming back from the bank to cash my check, I saw that there was protest of Planned Parenthood coming into Orland Park. A bunch of people with signs quoting scripture, telling people not to allow baby killers into our town, and stating they are not welcome.
I don't care what your view is, but you have to admit that if I joined the protest and held up a sign that says "I LIKE HOLDING UP SIGNS!!! WHEE!!!!" could be a pretty fucking funny photo-op. Not to mention a fun experiment to find out how fast I would have gotten my ass kicked.
Thank God March is over. I love March, but I hate it so much.
Love, cause so many good games came out this month. Ghost Recon, Elder Scrolls, Kingdom Hearts II, and (for some odd reason) Digital Devil Saga I came in as well.
Hate, because that shit ain't cheap. Pretty much most of my paycheck is gone (though bills helped that out too). Needless to say though, thankfully April only has Dreamfall (apparently) and May doesn't have anything coming out either. Damn good thing to as I need to save up for Vegas in June.
In case you are wondering:
Ghost Recon = awesome
Elder Scrolls IV = awesome awesome
Kingdom Hearts II = a little easy, but still awesome...and just a bit more do to Jack Sparrow
Digital Devil Saga = good, but why do all the guys look like girls?
As for other aspect, the Suncoast in my mall is closing. It is official, I have only one reason to go into the mall now....and that is Gamestop. However, the thing about closing is weird. Suncoast did a good business. Sure, they are a bit overpriced, but since they actually know the products than some of the teens at Best Buy, people ofter preffered to shop there. The reason why they are closed down is because the mall refused to renew their contract. Pretty much it seems that every non-clothing store has been forced to close and a clothing shop is put in its place...cause you know, in a mall that has about 70 stores, only 60 clothing stores isn't enough. Actually, I won't be suprised is that number is actually higher.
I am wondering how this could effect Gamestop.
