GHOSTS #1 - DC COMICS / VERTIGO special
I just received my advance copies of the DC Comics/Vertigo - GHOSTS One shot!
Im lucky enough to be in it, and My and Al Ewings strip is the opening story, The Night after I took the data entry job I was visited by my own Ghost!
Unbelievably Im in a book with Paul Pope, Gilbert Hernandez, Mark Buckingham, Phil Jimenez,Jeff Lemire, and we have the last story drawn and written by my hero, Joe Kubert.
To be in this company is a real honourand to have even the most tenuous connection to being near Joe Kuberts art is a dream come true. His work on Sgt Rock and the DC war books were my childhood favourites. I still cant believe hes gone. Were lucky to have had him, and also to enjoy this final story.
I feel so stupidly lucky to be involved.
