I was (and still am) very disturbed by a story I listened to on the radio this morning. Apparently in Iraq right now, both the military and police are actively hunting down homosexuals, arresting them, and then murdering them. Common Iraqi people were being interviewed for the story and they openly said things like "they must be eradicated" and "they're destroying our country". Guards have been positioned at the entrances of colleges and are warning young men and women that if they do not start dressing in a religiously acceptable way, that the government "cannot guarantee their safety". While I am aware that this kind of persecution may not be uncommon in a lot of the world, to hear that it is going on in a country that we recently left supposedly better than we found it is horrible. Fundamentalist religion has no place in this world.

But thank you. :] I mean, of course, a million of us exist! So you're silly. We just hide pretty damned well .. alone at home with movies or books or journals, sippin' juiceboxes, being solitary as fuck. So .. probably not the easiest hunt out there, but don't give up. Heh.
And, I glanced at your profile -- guessing you were in Jacksonville if that's where you're from? That's where I'm landing. I mean, but not staying, so I guess it's not that cool. Hahah.
