Swamp People is possibly the worst show on television. I know there's a lot of shit on TV, but I really believe this might be the worst. All it is is white-trash morons shooting alligators in the head, with rifles, from point blank range. It's ridiculous. Every time I happen to be unlucky enough to see that it's on (other people in my house watch it and love it), I just hope I see one of these jackasses get yanked right out of their boat. Adding to the already terrible show is the fact that a couple of the people they follow, a father son duo, are the biggest bros I think I've ever seen. If these two didn't kill an alligator ever, they'd still be massive douchebags. I' don't know if I've ever witnessed two people more convinced that they are the coolest kids in school. Stupid stupid show. I would also venture a guess and say that if the show was about killing some sort of mammal, there would have been a public outcry and the show would be gone after a couple of episodes. I know there are deer hunting shows, but they're not putting the guns up against deer skulls and firing.
