Lethe made it past the mother fucking semi finals of lawrence.com's Deadwood Derbie!! I am so fucking stoked. There's alot at stake here... I don't think that we'll win it all, but hey, we're one step closer...
Big ups to thesleeper for actually reading my last blog and voting, and I was overwhelmed by the support that my friends/fans gave us at the show. Crowd response was worth half of the overall scoring, the other half was determined by judges. But yeah, we dodged a slew of nu-metal crap, and Black Sabbath's "The Wizard" rocked some fucking faces off, especially after the sound dude turned on my mic so that the lyrics could actually be heard. I know we're an instrumental band, but come on sound dude, that doesn't mean that we CAN'T sing, especially when covering a song...
So yes, sometimes life is good!!
