So, lately, I have bought a lot of uninspiring music. I mean, there'll be tracks here and there that I am into, but, until my little blues adventure on You Tube tonight, I was feeling, well, lost about what my next cd purchase should in fact be. Sometimes ya just got step back a few steps to move forward four or five more..... I think I figured it out...please do try to enjoy some of these lil ditties, won't cha???
So, in my quest for some good Pink Floyd, I stumbled upon this little gem and in the ten minutes it took to watch it, it felt as though time stood still. I have always loved this song, but this version is rather enthralling. I have always loved Pink Floyd's bluesy undercurrents, however have always felt satisfied with watching their live performances from the comfy of my own home listening station
You know, sometimes, when you look at old photos from the 60's and 70's, as a girl, anyway, it's sometimes hard to tell how our mothers found any of those hairy mountain men attractive...I, personally, have found a limited few from that musical era attractive, except for Ginger Baker from Cream....OMG! Ok, maybe it is because I have an affinity for red headed guys, but yeah, Ginger Baker was a looker back then, I think. Oh, and Robert Plant, too. He was pretty hot back then, too
Great fucking song!
And hell, since we are traveling in this vein, how about some late, great Albert King for ya bones? Hehe, if you behave, perhaps I'll toss in some Stevie Ray Vaughn
I may be absent for a while to get some really good reading done. I am not going anonymous, because who knows, I may be posting every now and then. I think however, I need a summer vaca from the SG madness
But fret not, my friends.....not canceling the account, just need to focus on some studies-related stuff....lub you all
