I have been falling back in love with them. I mean, we never fell OUT of love, per say, we just had some growing to do, you know, like on our own. We are ready for an adult relationship, now. ANYWAY, THIS is my fave version of "Optimistic"--
This was recorded in some New York Studio for the HD Music Television Channel. The first time I watched it, I swear to god, I got the chills and was like, "YES! They've still got it!!!" (though, I am sure most avid Radiohead fans would agree that they never quite lost it!). In fact, side note, I remember LOVING Kid A in high school. It felt like being somewhere in Europe, perhaps more specifically the Swiss Alps, or even some nordic country away on a ski vacation. I remember having these weird moments where I'd close my eyes while listening to the album and envision myself in some really weird, 60's art deco style ski chalet wearing weird sweaters.....yeah, I SWEAR TO GOD I never did acid- not once!!! LOL
Who the Fuck said Rock was dead? Nothing like some Gooooood rock music!!! Jim James voice pours over the brain and the soul like a warm bath of honey...They consistently nail their live performances. This year is going to be HUGE for these southern gentlemen!
My best friend and I used to love to, after a long night at the bar (a loooong looong time ago ) enjoy a night cap that consisted of a couple of blunts and watching nipple hardening movies about this kind of stuff :

The first few vids, though, are from a local to Maryland haunt called The Sidebar Tavern in Brawltimore (Baltimore, HON!). Awesome awesome shit. I found a video, actually, of the night last August ('07) that I was fortunate enough to see The Aggrolites perform with bassist J for the last time. However, the video is so so so awful that I am not going to post it (I think I remember the dude who was filming, we were standing kinda close, and he was soooooooo drunk!)- besides, you don't get a chance to see me in it, anyway!
