Sooooo, I decided to come back around for a bit....I think the safest thing for me is to just steer clear of the political boards here and perhaps just stick to the music and celebrity warship groups- oh, and the sexy ones, too
Anyway, a lot of shit has been going down in my little east coast world. I still hate my job, but then again, is it a day? However, traffic has been picking up with my blog that is being published through my magazine Urbancode Magazine . My Blog, however, is called The D.C. Show Hopper . Basically, and if you all check it out, you'll see that it is my attempt to catalogue some of the cooler music happenings in our nation'
s capital. It's a little bit on the bare bones side, as it is still in it's infancy, BUT BUT BUT I did a really fun interview recently with the band The Gay Blades . They have this really cool song called " O Shot". It's a lot of fun, and it'll get your hiney moving, for sure! Also, I recently purchased the new Sharon Jones and The Dap-Kings album 100 Days, 100 Nights . I have been a fan of theirs since the turn of this century and I have to say, this album lacks something. But in the same right, I feel like it explores a few new vocal angles that Sharon Jones may not have been ready to record in the two records before the current one. I need to give it a few more spins before I can really determine if I love it or hate it..... I also bought the band Rogue Wave's new album. Soft like the shins, certainly noise rock, a little more electric than Arcade Fire's Neon Bible.....Also, here's a list of some of the bands that I am REALLY digging at the mo:
J. Roddy Walston and The Business
Baroness
Federale
Protest the Hero
Darkest Hour
So, yeah, I think you should check these bands out. Some of them are not signed yet, and they need some love!!!! Pictures to follow on here soon, ya'll, I promise!!!!! It's good- no GREAT to be back!!!!

To me, this is an open admission of defeat.
American politics is great though. Far more interesting than our democracy
