I have been thoroughly disgusted with the fact that my membership fee is going to endorse the venomous muck that shoots from Bitch_phd's brain. Seriously. I cannot stand her Femi-Nazi banter and I hate that she turns every issue into one of race and gender. It's pointless. She gets the fucking pot stirred and just by writing this post, I am sure that she is getting what she wants; a reaction, a fucking reaction. I know that it seems REALLY geeky to argue politics and social issues with someone whose face you've never even seen. However, I just get soooooo irritable when I read another one of her poorly written articles. To me, I sit back after going back and forth with some of the more idiotic and impractical members and think to myself, we are nothing better than a bunch of political jocks standing in a locker room in towels flexing our political and intellectual (or lack thereof) muscles. It baffles me that people sometimes get as involved in these discussions as they do, almost like what they are saying is actually going to provide the right answer on, oh, I dunno, universal health care and gay marriage in the USA. Oh, and also, I love how diluted everyone seems to be about the imminent threat that jihadists pose to not just the US as a whole, but the entirety of westernized civilization/culture as we know it. People want to be sooooo damn politically correct while at the same time are inching closer and closer to having bombs go off in their back yards because they aren't willing to stand up for what is right. I am by no means advocating the Bush administration and their INSANE policy making. They acted with haste in entering Iraq and they had a plan for the mission probably equating to that of a five year old's fridge art brought to us by Crayola....
Sorry, I am just really frustrated with the way the boards are run here and it makes me not even want to post. And, just for the record, it's not because people don't agree with me, no, it's because they take it to a whole new level by insulting you intelligence because you aren't aligning yourself with some bleeding heart agenda that they've all seemed to conjure together. Yep, that's right I said it- the bleeding heart libs.....I am for one an advocate of democracy. I believe in it, i really do. However, I cannot stand extremes on either side of the political spectrum and that is why I simply state myself as independent. Nothing carries more freedom than being independent of some of the ass holes (either party) that run rampant on this site....
