Phew. What a mad weekend! Rude Girls on Friday where I was meant to promote Ruby Rouge by handing out business cards but ended up drooling over all the gorgeous girlies and pole dancers. I'm really lousy at prmoting myself. In fact that's the reason I joined this site but I do fuck all to promoste my business here. I never understand why its not packed to the brim... a room full of semi-naked women in splendid costumes, much sauciness and uninhibited dancing, cocktails, lipstick lesbians, androgenous girls and everyone in between... eeek! Its truly fabulous. Maybe people just don't know about it.
So then Saturday was the Burning Man Decompression party....and it ROCKED! It was at this commune/squat in Hackney, I went alone not really knowing whether I would meet anyone there I knew but bumped into lots of random people. But the best part was meeting so many amazing new people.... eeeeek! So excited! The only person I bumped into who I had actually met at Burning Man was a guy called Paul who is probably the most inspiring person I have ever met. You know when you meet someone and you connect with them instantly? It likes goes beyong intellect or mind and something in your heart just opens? Like you can literally feel it in your heart? Paul is amazing. He has a disability - his legs are paralized, but he still manages to come all the way to burning man every year. He was in a drive by shooting years ago and was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. And he will tell you that it was the best thing that has ever happend to him, that it woke him up and changed him for the better. Honestly, this dude puts the rest of us to shame.
So yes, an amazing night which went on till very very late - I think I left at like 9am and boy was I in a sorry state when I got home. Over-indulged a little too much I think . It made me so excited to go to Burning Man next year. It's like the only place I have ever been to which is really like my home.
I'm very excited about my reiki. I just found a dying plant on the street and I lugged it back here so now I'm going to go and give it some reiki and revive it!
Big love to everyone, have a good week!
From a very loved up
