My first post as a Melbourne girl.
Cities have personalities. Since I have moved here, I've become sure of it.
The difference between Sydney and Melbourne is glaring.
Melbourne people seem much more reserved, though. Sometimes I just wish I had a really good friend to talk to - I have a horror day at work, my MP3 player dies (like today)... and there's one place in the world I wanna be - in a hole-in-the-wall with a good friend and a glass of quality red.
Not gonna happen.

There are lots of 'holes in the walls' in the city, just have a look down some of the smaller lanes for some bars and cafes. I'm sure you'll find a fav. one or two
Once you settle in I think you'll enjoy it more (I hope).
Where did you move too?
