Yesterday was the perfect day.
I woke up early with Casey that morning and things were easy and pleasant. She told me little nothings about what is going on with her and we had a quiet breakfast. I hardly ever eat breakfast, but when I do, I get this sense of pure pleasure and this feeling of calm comes over me. I think it's the hour more so the meal, but my days seem to go by smoothly, like a dream.
Classes started at 9:30 and all was through by noon and the weather, the most beautiful weather, was all around me. I took my time walking from class to class, trying my best to take the long way just to breath in a second more of perfection.
When I got back to my room, I sat and listened to Fiona Apple and Rilo Kiley on repeat for hours. Their stuff fit with the weather and my mood perfectly. Time left me behind and before I knew it, it was 5 o'clock and I still had lots of things before Alfred arrived. I had another one of those showers, the kind that seems to go on forever and you contemplate giving up everything just for a few more seconds in the hot water. I miss my bath tub. Right when I was considering staying in the shower forever, Pantea comes up to the curtains and gracefully says in the loudest voice she can muster, "You know there is a mandatory floor meeting tonight, right?! It's at eight and Brandon (the new RA) is writing up everyone that doesn't show up..."
fuck. seriously. The new guy is already pissing off the whole floor.
All of a sudden it was like I only have 30 minutes to do everything under the sun. I had to find Brandon, who was nowhere to be found, so I had to leave him a note basically telling him to fuck off and that I wasn't going to the meeting and then I had to go get dressed and April and Anthony kept calling. ARG. It's so funny looking back from today, but it was really annoying at the time. But who cares about these things..
I had a marvelous time with Alfred. He took me everywhere and showed me the most beautiful things. His motorcycle took us to Twin Peaks, Rape Valley aka Mission Street, some tower place, and then to Columbus. I have never been on a motorcycle and it was one of the best feelings. I like the feeling of cool air that greets you. Very fun, even though I am sure I looked like twelve year old, haha.

It must be beautiful down there in California. When I wake up, I'm all grouchy and stuff. Good to know your enjoying life.
