My poor fucking dog is breaking my heart.
I think he's going deaf, and he's not even 5. I know pugs are health problem central, but deafness isn't one of the problems. I wouldn't think twice about accomidations... If he's deaf, oh well, I'll learn hand signals, human speech is confusing to them anyways.... I don't care about the added problems, apparently everyone else has noticed he's had a problem and I'm JUST noticing, because I'm just USED to it. So the extra efforts aren't a problem, but it's still so very upsetting. To know he'll only get DEAFER.... he might not be able to hear me at ALL someday? To get his attention, I'll have to stop the floor? I thought it was selective hearing honestly. But when he doesn't react to "Car Ride," "Walk," and "Where's Daddy?" under a certain volume, it's not selective, they're his favorites. Maybe it's all my loud, weird music. Or me grabbing his face and shouting "You're so CUTE" in a baby voice..
Ugh, I kinda wanna cry. As of now I have to SHOUT to get him to wake up. *le sigh*
