What is it about getting someone's texting ID or Facebook that suddenly eliminates all other forms of communication? How are you supposed to get to know anyone just through texts about the weather and Facebook reposts about cats?

People have pursued me and will go from sending long, thoughtful emails and appreciating my long, thoughtful emails where we actually get to know one another...

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Facebook. I havepeople all over the world and it is by far the most convenient way to keep upwith them and let them know what I'm doing. I can't hop on a plane and spend aweekend in the US at will. It's hard working with a 13-17 hour time differenceto even Skype with most of my friends back home. I’ve met people on there wholikes and comments evolved into coffee and day trips and some solidfriendships.   What bothers me more are people you meet whoseem genuinely all about having new people in their lives and all about gettingyour number/chat ID (we use KakaoTalk here more than SMS)/Facebook and for aminute are super talkative and inquisitive...then...tumbleweeds. Drivel aboutthe weather and nothing but superficial chatter.   There is a guy I’m talking to who I met online.Seemed pretty cool, but lives about 4 hours away. We started sending messages andhe actually appreciated the thoughtful replies that weren’t just 2 sentences.Carried on for about a month. We met when he was up here for work and startedtexting daily. I went down to see him about a month later and then…fade tosmall talk. THAT is what irks me. If he were an isolated case, I could easilybrush it off. But in the past 3 months that’s been the norm with about 5 peopledoing the same thing on various medias.

I prefer talking, in person.  Facebook is way over-rated.  So much junk out there and so many people I dont even talk to anymore.  I moved from the West coast of Canada to Ontario, about 4,000km, and thought I would stay in touch with everyone.  I was wrong.  I miss my friends and don't get back there too often.

@LYXZEN. @CHARMAINE, @MISSY, and @RAMBO want to know what our resolutions are for 2015. Everything seems to get broken down into baby steps with me, its just a matter of committing it to my planner and having at it, but I'll try to keep my nuritics out of it for now. LOL Here goes…

1. Get back in the gym and healthy! I was...

All totally accomishable goals! Good luck, I can't wait to see what you get into MR!

Last month I posed for a local artist for a project he's working on. I liked the way these two came out quite a bit. I look forward to seeing the exhibition when it comes out later this year.

Stunning !

While I was in Thailand I had the opportunity to meet up with a couple of local photographers. The guy from Chiang Mai is especially into creating some wild images and the girl in Bangkok was absolutely lovely and we spent the entire day hanging out in the parks and walking the streets. So glad I got to meet both of them!

looks fantastic, i hope you get to do more soon

Me too! I have a couple things planned for the end of this month and next. Just need to get a few things together for them. =)

It's 3:30am, I haven't slept, and I am about to get in the shower to head out.

All my work shit is complete. I've scared my head teacher, my co-teacher, and my substitute teacher with how detailed and organized I am.

Jayde is ready for my coworker to pick her up later for the week and both she and the dog...

Was pursuing Model Mayhem checking out photographers in the local area and came across Scotty Photo who had quite a bit to say about piercings and tattoos on women. Mainly about how they are vandalizing their bodies, aren't marketable, and should basically be ashamed for not fitting his narrow idea of female beauty. You can see his tirade below.

I was instantly infuriated and...

So on the 21st I'm going to Thailand for two glorious weeks solo!

I am going to book a ziplining adventure through the rainforest canopy for the 22nd out of Bangkok. About $110 US for a 9 hour trip with a small group through the canopy, two sky bridges, and rappelling down a few places. Yes, totally worth it. But not at 6am. 9...

I have a lot of good things going on right now. I had my first photo shoot, did my first solo life drawing modeling, had a drawing class session scheduled (that unfortunately I was too sick to actually do), and have plans for additional shoots in the not too distant future. I’m going to be in Thailand in December and Cambodia in February. I...

Sex changes guys. A lot in some cases. I don't know what it is that makes them act like one form of asshat another, but it's far too common. Lately, those who have switched gears have fallen into three categories: the Vanishing Asshat, the Feels Asshat, and the Evil Asshat.

The Vanishing Asshat

I will never understand why it is about sex or...
