I'm back from my trip to Baltimore. Thank God!

I went to see From Mounument to Masses on Saturday night at Cafe DuNord...they totally rocked out!

Today I trolled around SF. Tomorrow...I go back and get my cartilage dermal punched.

LOL! That happened to a friend of mine and her landlord. The way I figure, though, it's more embarassing for the person who walks in than the person who owns it.

My idea for your bookcase is to rough it up a little bit with sandpaper. Go to Home Depot's paint section and usually they have an area of discount paint, stuff that people brought back or was otherwise unused. They can't sell it retail since a lot of the paint is custom mixed. Pick out something you like and buy it. smile

Then you can either use a thinner coat and go back and sand it for a rustic look, or use a sponge to make neat texture, or even stencil the case. Ta-da!
