Yay! This new SG directory is pretty radical.

I listed my comical-type strips in an effort to defeat Red China.

It's funny, another member IMed me your site, and I sat there thinking "Is this legal?" then she posted the link to the thread here about it. 'Grats.

And a fellow Masshole @that! Awesome. biggrin

kwizzle just recommended that I read your webcomic, and I laughed so hard I almost dropped my iced tea. What am I doing drinking iced tea while on the computer? Ok, better not to ask. But I loved your comic and will be paying frequent visits. Keep up the good work!

Aren't a lot of you SG kids from Portland, OR?

Guess what? I'm about to come soil your land and pee up your water for a comics show. It's my first time in PDX and I am excited as a virgin in the wrong locker room.

Perhaps I'll see you Saturday?

On this July 4th weekend, may I just say how envious I am of Canadians whose banks and malls will be open on Monday?

HALLOOO, POOH BEARS

I'm going up to sparkling Toronto, Ontario for TCAF this weekend.

TCAF is not decaf. It is the Toronto Comic Arts Festical. It will be populated by far better cartoonists than I. Purdy exciting!

I will be selling a few little gew-gaws and doo-dads. I hope to trade stickers for Coffee Crisp.

I ask this assuming a "yes" answer-

Anyone out there a vegetarian? I was for about a month, back when I had time on my hands and no stressful girlfriends. I am in the same boat again and want to try it for "real" this time.

Lucky for me, Tofurkey rules.

I'm a vegetarian, I don't find I try at it or anything. I guess because I'm used to it. I eat a lot of good restaurant tofu and my mom makes it for me from time to time. If you don't know how to prepare it though, don't expect it to taste good if you decided to fry it up.

Veggie restaurants are usually high in the delicious factor. My carniverous little sis loves it when I bring her out to one. That's where I get ideas for meals anyway.

If you're not aiming for veganism, then I suggest eating a lot of cheese. And nuts. Mm, pistachios.

shocked

bittergirl:

Trader Joe's = nut paradise for vegetarians. My boyfriend and I have both been veg at various points in our lives, and now, we'd probably be baco-vegetarians if we did it again. Bacon is just too yummy, as much as I love pigs.

The other thing to know about tofu is: marinate, marinate, marinate. Press out as much water with towels/paper towels as you can, then soak it in whatever yumminess you have in the fridge (orange juice + black pepper is good!) for as long as you can before baking or frying it. Helpful tofu tip! ARRR!!!

From poprock

No testimonials? You, of all people, deserve testemonials. I'll testify. Under oath, or something.

So, erm, yeah. Mr Stevens is a rocker. He rocks out.

(Oh yeah - and happy birthday...)
