TBS is now into its 50th (well, it feels like it) showing of a Christmas Story and I can't tear my eyes away from its nostalgic power. Been waiting for a phone call that has never come, so Christmas, like every other day of this bloody year will be a normal one. Got a screening of Black Christmas on my "things to do" list along with a trip to the movies (never seen this Darkness flick before).
Not exactly sure what to expect from the weeks ahead, but, as I said to a friend the other night at the pub, I'm going to remain focused.
Focused so, if I'm taken back, I can do the best I can. Focused, in case I'm not, so I can brace myself for the hurt and try to move on.
