i went to see Liz Phair in Boston yesterday (it was a b-day gift from a lovely friend).

anyway, i hadnt seen Liz in years. Back then, it was new years eve on her first tour, she was so introverted and shy. she has soooo changed. she was very happy (almost giddy).

her encore songs were Fuck And Run and HWC.
Fuck being off her first cd, and HWC from her last.
it was kind of appropriate and demonstrated how she had grown as a person.

in Fuck she sings:

kind of sweet. what a jaded and nave goal. she longs for the corny and revels in it.

well, as shes grown, shes certainly done away with all that sentimental stuff.
