@gargoyle23 got me thinking tonight. (Uh-oh) He wrote an insightful blog about wanting more variety in sets seen on SG. (I'm paraphrasing, but you can read his original blog here)
Something I've noticed, is that all sets of the day are stunning beautiful women. Nothing wrong with that, however, I think though that it's just the tip of the iceberg of the breathtakingly beautiful women who are here on SuicideGirls. I would love to see more variety in the types of sets we get to see hit the front page. Curvier girls, thinner girls, heavily modified, all natural. What do you think?
Someone gave me a huge compliment the other day. While I've been planning the Denver Shootfest, one of the interested Hopefuls said that she really wanted to work with me because I'm so body positive. That comment meant so much to me because I try so hard to help people see the beauty in themselves when I'm taking their picture. I try to make them smile naturally, and to laugh while shooting sets. My favorite is when they lie down, and I say "Now I'm going to draw you like on of my French girls". 9 times out of 10 it makes them laugh, and I love it.
Body positivity is something that I struggle with, and I think that's why I'm such a cheerleader when it comes to other girls and their bodies. I want them to feel good about themselves because I know what it's like to not feel good about yourself.
So, what do you think? What do you, the members, Hopefuls, and SuicideGirls, want to see on the front page?
xoxo
