IT'S OCTOBER!
I love this time of year. Love, love, LOVE!
The last couple of years I haven't been too excited, but this year I feel it. Halloween is coming. And, in one week, one of my favorite sets that I've ever shot hits member review.
I said awhile ago in a piece of @bloghomework that I would write a little about my favorite set shot as photographer, and this is it. (I hope @missy, @rambo, and @lyxzen don't mind!) @soraleia and I went a different route with this set, and I'm really hoping that you all enjoy it.
"The Hunter" feeds off the old horror movie vibe with muted filters that make it feel like something out of the 1970s. I don't want to give too much away, but here's one little sneak peek:
It was a cold(ish) morning when Soraleia and I adventured out into a park in Southern California. (Actually it was hot, but that doesn't sound as horror movie-ish) We hiked for some time before discovering this open field that was framed by some trees. Honestly, it was perfect, it looked like somewhere you would go for a nice picnic after committing murder. Sounds nice right?
We took our time, goofed off between shots (we always do), and I really feel like we captured the mood we were going for. It's creepy cute. Perfect for this time of year, don't you think?
Here is a drawing by @gdlevi that was inspired by some of the work Soraleia and I did that day:
Just one week. Keep a look out for The Hunter featuring @soraleia. I can't wait to hear what you think about this set, one of my favorite sets shot so far for SuicideGirls.
xoxo
