sorry nex! I haven't been anywhere near a computer all weekend, and maybe paul did eat me, what's it to you?? tongue

well, my boyfriend took me to Big Stink this weekend so he could see Mudvayne for like, the 4th or 5th time. I didnt mind so much. Taproot was pretty good and I guess Mudvayne was good. I don't really listen to much of th nu metal stuff though, so I felt a little weird.

he wanted to be up at the front of course, so we were squished up there with all the big thrashing guys. I am rather small, and after a while some of the big guys began to notice. They helped Paul make a circle around me to keep me from getting hurt. I kinda felt stupid, distracting them as I was, so I just left after the next song was over. I would have been fine in there, a little more bruised than I am, but I'm tough wink

anyways. I'm tired. eh.

The last Big Stink I went to, a mosh pit erupted next to me.... some girl kept trying to shove me into it, and I really didn't feel like hitting the pit at that moment. I think she stopped trying to push me right about when she realized I could crush her like a bug. biggrin

The moral of the story is, I'm glad you were protected from the mosh pit; I would have helped your boy keep you safe. Not that you'd have asked/wanted that. wink

you've never read the harry potter books? oh shit... that's it... you're going down. i hesitated for years - even with my children librarian mom hounding on me to read them. it wasnt until i was sitting in india waiting to get on a 20 hr flight home that i thought to pick it up. and now i'm a huge dork for it.

errrr hate getting bruised at shows. when you're getting thrashed against the bar in front.
